100 Games: Lachie Ferguson

Lachie Ferguson (OW10) plays his 100th game this week against Old Haileybury. Lachie, a member of the 2010 Wesley College premiership side, played his first game of senior football at Collegians in 2010 whilst still at school. His hunger for the contest, tackling and goal kicking impressed everyone straight away and are true hallmarks of Lachie’s game today. He returned to Collegians in 2011 and 2012, where he was part of a dynamic forward line, playing in senior premierships in both seasons and kicking 4 goals in 2011 grand final and 1 in the 2012 grand final.

After playing Big V footy for the VAFA in 2012, Lachie then decided to challenge himself by playing at Collingwood in the VFL from 2013-2016. Returning full time to Collegians in 2017, Lachie continues to star on the field. After a season away in 2021, Lachie returned to the club in 2022 winning a flag with the thirds, before returning to the senior side in 2023, and he still displays the great goal sense which has been a constant throughout his Collegians career.
